I have a Henry Big Boy steel carbine which I like a lot and which shoots very well. However, with the Henry scope base the scope height, even with low rings, is much higher than I'd like it to be. The Henry scope base looks to be higher than necessary. I have not been able to find an alternative base. Does anyone have any suggestions?
