What's all these states and people going to do if the Federal gooberment decides to enforce federal law, such as immigration, pot etc.?

Be kinda interesting to watch if they do.

Many times in the past the feds have enforced their laws by cutting off highway funds. We might see Oregon's great roads deteriorate in a hurry.

I bet Trump can dream up more than just the highway funds to cut.

If you are financing these things you are giving defacto- approval.

I don't like it, but that's the truth of the matter and that's what the courts have held to be true for over 200 years.

If Oregon's own people can't get ride of the governor, it must be what they want.

Oregon fell off my list of escape states a couple years ago.

Federal funding is the most immediate, but probably the least of their worries.

So far, this blatant refusal to not just ignore, but flaunt federal law has been liberal fun and games and has made great headlines, but Jeff Sessions aint Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch, and at least one city attorney gets what's at stake:

Edit: Another thing of interest in the above article is this:

"There's also (a) pending bill in the Michigan Legislature that would, if passed, withhold state funding from local governments that don't cooperate with federal immigration officials."

This is interesting because Republicans now hold the Presidency, a congressional majority, the majority of governorships, and full control of 33 state legislatures, so I expect other states will follow suit.

The media and their minions can huff and puff all they want, but they're not going to blow the house down.
