A couple points of interest in the trailcam pic.

1) Buck appears to be tending does.

2) Buck has a full set of horns

Sheds on the same farm.

Saw a good buck at the house when I pulled out this morning. Obviously the only way I knew that is he still had both sets of antlers.

We are about to hit generally our very last rut here circa 15-20th or so of Feb....

No sheds anywhere yet. ONly buck I"ve seen missing antlers was a road kill. I suspect the impact was pretty hard...

Gosh, that's beautiful country.

Apparently the three bucks that cast never caught onto the whole lefty-loosey-righty-tighty thing. whistle

Looks like you've got some nice potential for this coming season.

The sheds were found on the right side of the hill, need to check the left side of the hill. grin

Yes, that buck has potential for next season. In the mean time I will be hunting his sheds.

Our muleys out here won't shed until mid to late March usually.

I believe one or more of those does are not bred and in turn go into cycle. This causes the buck to produce testosterone and keep his rack.
