Are there any gunsmiths who can add a tang safety, shotgun/ruger 77 style to a rifle. I love this style of safety and would like one on a Mauser or model 70. Would have to lock the bolt also.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

I've emailed Voere in Austria to see if they will sell their model 98 tang safety or shroud safety as parts.

Here' the response from Voere. You can buy the tang safety and shroud safety from them. A local gunsmith should be able to install it for you if you can't.
