3 guns. $2000

1. Barrel band 30-30 in 85% condition. All original. No cracks.

2. Straight grip take-down 250-3000 in about 85% condition. 285,XXX. Has the round eye sling swivels where one is the take-down latch and the other in the butt stock. My guess is that it is an early F. All else good. No cracks or holes.

3. Really nice 99G in 303. 95% with the same type of sling swivels as #2. All else good. No cracks or holes. 285,XXX

One of them has the elevation only tang sight. The guy is pretty good at describing his guns IMO.

When I first started talking to him, I thought the barrel band was in 300. That was going to be a no brainer for the package but after talking for awhile, that turned into a 30-30. Bummer.

Still thinking this one over. $667 a piece doesnt sound bad but surely isnt making me jump up and down over it.

Anybody interested in these guns? It is a 3 or 0 deal at this price.

Thoughts?

Just quiet here and asking...

Yeah, man. I should think one in .30-30 would be way more fun to shoot up the neighborhood with than one in .300.

It sounds like a sweet deal.

Is the barrel band a carbine butt? I LIKE a curved butt.

After a little conversation this afternoon, we were able to come to a deal. I could have passed up the original 3 gun deal I posted yesterday. The deal made today, I cannot pass up.

In short, the guy is getting a knee replaced and he is thinning out his collection.

Note: He is a taking an engraved 1899 and a 99/410 cased set to Tulsa if some of you are going. Also, a real nice 22HP.
