I have used them for lots of things over the years. Hold the roof on an old sheep shed to get another winter out of it.
Make a backstop for my shooting range. Stack them up and fill with dirt.
Raised beds two high for some plants.
Erosion control on steep shale hillside stair stepped up the hill.
As buffers on my irrigation pipe trailer to keep the pipe from denting on the trailer edge where they hang over.
Screwed to a wooden base for placing out mineral for cattle.

Where I live, when we buy new tires, we have to pay a 'disposal fee'. You pay the fee whether you take the tire home or leave it. I just leave mine, let them deal with it.

Same here. When I was farming full time, I always saved tires, thinking I could find a use for them. Ended up with a farm full of used tires. Not good. Now, I let someone else deal with them. Our county highway garage will take old tires for a few days out of each years, just to help people get rid of them.

Yes, even though I have a use for them there will be a day of reckoning when the farm is sold or my estate has to deal with them. At least here they don't charge me $2.00 if I keep them.

Once upon a time I had a HUGE pile of tires accumulated to hold down the plastic on a forty x hundred foot silage bunker.
Black widow heaven.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.
