Let Smoke our dog, out to take care of things but possum invader hunkered down into the bag. Then Smoke starting ripping garbage up and out, and got himself back put inside the house. I tried turning the bag upside down and forcing critter out the hole but he hung in there. So after waiting for a while, put on a pair of gloves, grabbed him by the head and did a two-handed toss out into the yard. He hit the ground running, kinda like that was some possum escape strategy he had used before...

That was too much for the 95# of shepherd, so he head-butted the storm door open and both of them headed down into the ravine running on the east side.

Later toweled mud and water off smiling dog...will replace the door latch eventually...:)
