I'm at a local high school basketball game last week watching my Sons team taking a mild beating,
Two starters on our team, obviously injured, wearing casts or using crutches, sitting on the sideline with the other non-starters,
typical High school basketball court, players chairs just off the court, and behind that a small walkway between the players chairs and the bleachers.
As a certain Man passes our bench in the walkway, He gives each of our players "knuckles" on the back of their shoulder as he walks along,
This man offering encouragement is NFL QB record holder Tony Romo, The person who's last contract alone was 108 mill,
The looks on these kids faces as they turned around and saw who was there, was absolutely insane.
The empathy and understanding from Tony, who also sat all year and watched from the bench, was too obvious.
Mr. Tony Romo, thank you for lighting up the faces of these Kids, My Son was still smiling the next morning at breakfast.

Most professional athletes are pretty good guys, some better than others. The bad ones seem to get most of the attention though. That sort of thing happens quite a bit but is rarely publicized. I've always liked Romo and wish him well.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

The bad ones seem to get most of the attention though. That would describe most aspects of life, Sports personal didn't create that monopoly. And yes I'm agreeing with you.

What a thug!
If people realized how much good most NFL players did for their communities, they would not be so judgemental.
OH wait. No, they would still be judgemental...

Tony has always been a class act. He gets hammered by the media for not winning the big one, but I would take a guy like him on my team any day of the week. I hope he gets a chance to win a ring before he retires.
