Try it, you can only be out so much, and you don't have to grind it all.

Ground chicken is pretty gooey and slimy. We use ground turkey in place of beef all the time in things like stuffed peppers, etc...

When I want to do something other than the norm with chicken, I have no problem with slicing and dicing with a good knife.

For all the bashing the ground chicken has gotten here, I'm thinking we have all eaten worse at some time.

Ground chicken ain't half bad. But if you want to cook something like a hot dog, look at the ingredients....one of the first ones "mechanically separated chicken" Is basically Beaks and Feet. at least that's what I told my kids.

I use ground chicken fairly often but mix it 50/50 with ground turkey, beef or pork. After browning the mixture, I always drain the fat by placing the meat in a colander. Better flavor with less fat is a good thing.

Buddy of mine calls regular hotdogs, blinkies. Because they're made from eyeballs and a$$holes.

I've always assumed that red, ground meat is to be made from venison.

It's and odd time that I purchase ground beef.

Exactly, I haven't bought any beef except maybe a fast food hamburger in 15+years.
