I am looking at a 243 in the Coyote Lite for sale locally.
It looks like the reviews on these guns are quite mixed... they shoot.... they don't shoot. However, the poor reviews tend to be 5-10 years old. The good reviews less than 5 years.
this is a 2015 model.
Can I hope for 1 MOA with this gun?

It should easily shoot MOA imo. I have a few of the newer ones, although they are not the Portugal made M70s, and they are very accurate. For a production rifle I think the M70 is top of the list. Not a huge fan of the Coyote Lite stock though

Let us know ... I'm also interested in one of these for possible conversion to 6mm AI - the loony, always tinkering  brass, dies, reamer ... One drawback to the Coyote Light, is the typical Winchester, slow twist of 10", stodgy even!

Hmmmm..... No love for Winchester 70s? LOVE the M70, but NOT the Coyote.. At one time I had four.. I now have zero.. They'd be OK for a donor rifle - just pitch the original barrel and put on a primo one....problem solved.. If you can get it for less than %500 you'd be OK.

I've can do .5 - .75 MOA with 75 gr VMAX, 87 gr VMAX and 80 gr NBT. Longest kill for groundhogs is 435 yds. Never owned a Winchester. Asking price is $700 obo. I'm intrigued but not sold.

I have the Coyote in the laminated stock, in .22-250. It is easily the most accurate rifle that I have, or have ever had. Everyone that shoots it loves it. I would love to have one in .243 or one of the Short Mags some day.

I have one in 300 wsm and while I'm not a huge fan of the stock, the rifle itself rivals my customs in accuracy. It's easily a 0.5 MOA rifle on a bad day and better on a good day.
