What do you still have?

What did you run back when?

What do you recall about the old machines?

My Dad's uncle bought a B Allis Chalmers in 1948. Just about every farmer in the area bought one, must have been a good salesman making rounds! I sold it a couple years ago, sadly, I didn't have the time or space to enjoy it anymore.

The Farmall hundred series and hundred-50 series were the tractors of my youth. I still think that they were not only the most attractive tractors, but also stand as representatives of a time when everything was of a more sedate pace and appropriate proportion. (Back to my cave now.)

I have a Oliver 550 gas that I use for pulling my weed sprayer and grading the driveway. It has been a very reliable tractor over the years. It is a 1963 year and I am the second owner.

Ran a big old FarmAll many miles. The kind with the two narrow front tires.

Makes me grateful for four wheel drive, cabs, and a/c! laugh

Still have the NAA, with loader.
I could run that when I was nine years old. I was able to rid the farm of a 9000 about our years back.
My collection of vintage Farmalls is still using space however.

blanket, you make me think of an interview with the knuckle ball pitcher being scouted in high school.

"Hey, I did not just have a knuckle ball, I had a good knuckle ball".
I could, and run that tractor, and loader well.

Never had one of the little Fords, such as a 8N or Jubilee, or as they were known here as a red belly, grey belly, or such. My father in law, who was a Deere man, said the little Fords were okay for gathering eggs on. But, have owned Fords in 5600, 6700, and 7700 series. I run New Hollands now. Still like that blue paint.

I grew up running a '54 Jubilee, put many hrs in the seat of that tractor.

Now I got a '68 4000 and a '49 Cub.
