Open Country is a heavier flutted barreled 6.5 Creedmoor in a synthetic stock. Kind of a cross between a longmaster and Pro Varmit . 6lb 15 oz without scope or rings.
I built my own version on a longmaster 308. Rebarreled to 6.5 Creedmoor. Duplicated factory barrel but have not been able to shoot it because of health issues. Open heart surgery 4 weeks ago tomorrow. The split sternum concerns me.
