Mitch Seavey is scorching the the competition in this year's Iditarod! He is averaging about 10MPH and seems very confident in his eminent victory. Let's hope there's not another freak incident like 2011...

Those are words you don’t hear from someone who isn’t sure. It’s simple — Seavey believes it’s his race to win.

Nicolas Petit who came in third is an interesting fellow. Everyone else decked out in sponsor gear and he looks like he bought his clothes in the Army-Navy store years ago. I think you will see him win it one day. In addition a sharp dry wit.
