Scored a pound today....
I've got 243, 2506, 270, 3006, 708, 300 win.....

Anyone got some stellar loads that have worked....
I used their data and topped off some 3006 today....it wound up pretty compressed something I hesitate to do w/ball powders is this ok?

"Pretty compressed" does not seem like a good practice. While I prefer high density loadings, meaning around 100%. I have a concern that highly compressed loadings will not age well and can result in a variety of problems, some serious.
My 2 cents says that you should consider re-thinking your recipe.

Check your powder lot against the Ramshot website before shooting those. There is a recall on a specific lot of Hunter right now.

By all means. I believe it is lot number 489, but be sure and look. It's visible on the Ramshot website, at least it was the other day.

I'm in the same boat with Hunter. I've screwed around with it over the years, but only used about a half-pound and moved along. I laid in an 8-pounder a while back, intending to use it for my .30-06 load, but Re16 found a home there so now I'm looking at Hunter in the 6mm with 70-grain BTs for my truck gun. I'll shoot my first trial tomorrow morning. the top loads are slightly compressed, but I am not concerned. They may not even be the charge that shoots the tightest anyway.

Alot of their hunter loads on their website are compressed....guess i gotta believe they know what they're doing. I always shoot over a chronograph so will keep an eye on things ....doesn't look like there are alot of hunter users so far!

I think MD is the biggest fan around of Hunter. I know he likes it in .30-06, which was my reason for buying some to try in it, but there may be other applications where he likes it.

If I see something I really like in the 6mm, I'll tell about it...but I'm not at all sure about the rifle. I've had it a couple of months and it doesn't seem to want to shoot. I haven't decided one way or another on keeping it yet.

I've been using JB's 30-06 SPRG load since I first read about it (had several pounds of the powder left over from owning a 257 RBTS).
Ramshot Hunter - 58.5 grains (Lot #316).
Federal case, trimmed to 2.482".
Winchester WLR (old, nickel plated variety).
Hornady Interlock 180 grain SP (flat base).
COL - 3.274"
Will consistently shoot just under 1" in an old M70 (1961 mfg). My Shooting chrony measured this load at a 2749-fps average at 79°F.

57.0 grains with either the 130 Hornady Interlock or Partition has shot very well for me in a couple of 270s.
