500-800. Prices can be all over the place. Some sellers can be a little too proud of them.

I sold one on here not long ago right in the middle of this price range. I agree that many are priced at a ridiculous level.

Yep. Their cult status tends to run up their prices. As and owner and a fan of them, I tend to understand.

They are always more expensive than what I'd pay, I saw a used 30-06 going for 900 dollars and that's just ridiculous.
I did see a 35 whelen rsi though on gunbroker for 1350 and I'm considering it.

I've got one in 7Mag that is one of the early ones with the green inserts in the stock. Bought it about 4yrs ago from a local pawn shop for $450 with scope, sling, and slip-on Limbsaver pad. I sold the scope for $100 so I'm at about $350 in the rifle. Had one of the worst triggers I've ever experienced but after a quick trip to the local smith for a trigger job, it's one of the most accurate rifles I own.

Watched one sell for 650 + 35 bucks shipping on GB last night, in a 270, with a redfield revenge 6x18x44 scope. I bid 645, thinking I was getting quite a deal, when I did not win, I was ok with it, don't really have the cash anyway

Local shop just took one in...I think it's 300 win mag. Virtually new with Leupold VXII 4-12 AO I believe. $639. Well worth that price..IMHO.

Thanks everyone that responded, a guy I work with is trying to sell his and I knew that for some reason those boat paddle stocks brought better money, just didn't know how much more.

From a guy who used-to-have-the-boat-paddle-stock and changed it out for a much, much better stock: Anybody that thinks the old boat-paddle stock is worth tons of money is nuts.

Some prices have been ridiculously high but people have paid them for reasons they felt justified the cost. That doesn't make them "nuts", it just means they value the stocks much higher than you do. While I wouldn't pay "tons of money" for a boat paddle stock or rifle, I would like to get another at a what I consider a reasonable price. Have one that came from the factory, two I purchased the stock for separately. Think I paid about $50 for one stock and $85 for the other. Left to right, .338WM, .300WM, .30-06: They are are all for sale, $2,000 each. First $5,000 gets the lot of them. Buyer pays all shipping, insurance, FFL fees and any other transaction costs.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.
