Here are a few my wife took this week when were were traveling thru the Texas hill country! We are probably early but this year's blooms are not what they have been in the past few years!

We have to look pretty good to find Indian Paint Brushes ( prairie Fire),here in Wyoming. Even though it is our state flower.

A usual happening in March/April around here, back in the old days early Texian accounts rave about 'em, the whole landscape.

I've seen open fields so ablaze with Bluebonnets the entire landscape looked purple.

I would dare to say you haven't experienced wildflowers unless you've been through Texas in the spring.
