Hard time finding hiking or hunting footwear that is extra wide, like 2E or 3E
Anyone of you know a brand or brands that carry such footwear? I am real disappointed in the newer Irish Setters, the old ones served me well. Cabellas and wholesale sports only sell medium width. Getting to a dead end.

I need 2E's myself. For everyday work boots I buy Carolina's. They have a good selection in wide widths. Their broad toe work boots are very comfortable and come in uninsulated waterpoof and 400 gram insulated waterproof. I wear mine hunting all the time. I also have a pair of Danner pronghorns in 2E width. This is the second pair I've had and I've been happy with them. They come in uninsulated and several degrees of insulated.

I looked at the title and thought that this was going to be about Florida State football.

We have Sportsmen's Warehouse out here and have been very helpful for me. Our store even has a little bridge (6-8' long) so you're not on absolutely flat level floor to walk on to test. I think I'm currently wearing Sorrell's.

I hear good things about Crispi boots.... and there is a sale going on at Black Ovis right now. Still don't make them cheap but I find you get what you pay for especially in footware.

My feet like them.

I need 4E boots. I've had a pair of Rocky boot similar to these for 20 years with complete satisfaction.

If one can stand the costs, Whites (Spokane, Wa) makes custom boots. After the first set of lasts are built, one is not hit with the custom fee. Got my first pair 30+ years ago, and ordered a second pair two weeks later. Have 5 pair now that I cycle through. They will rebuild them as well until the tops literally fall apart. Expensive, but damned well worth it to those that put in miles. Usually the brand seen on fire crews and loggers in the Pacific North West.

I don't know about 3E or wider, but Kennetrek has regular, which is really like a normal single E and they have a wide size. They are also expensive, but I like mine. I normally take a single E, but when I tried them on the regulars work great with a little to spare. maybe I just got lucky and got the two pair they made or marked wrong, but I doubt it.

I have been wearing Timberland hiking boots in size 13 EEEE for several years now, they have worked well and I just bought another pair. I believe that Merrell also make hiking boots in wide widths. I bought the Timberlands at Dick's and the Merrells at Cabela's.

Good to know. I have a wide foot and narrow heal. Finding boots is a chore. So far, wide Lowas work, but want to try out some Crispi’s.

I'm pretty impressed with a pair of Irish Setter 860's (1200 gram Elk Trackers) that I got back in November. 11 EEE. No complaints on fit, workmanship or price.
