Anybody have someone they have used or recommend? I have a turkey shotgun and would like to get the whole gun dipped.

Added the "Soft feel" finish, hoping it protects the coating. It definitely adds some grip/ rubbery texture to the stock.

They have some really cool stuff out there.

I have had a Weatherby Mark V synthetic stock and a Browning X-bolt wood stock done in Cameo and are real happy that I had it done. This guy being 6 miles from the house was also nice. Cookeville, TN.

Granddaughter had hers done, it looks cool and has held up.

How durable? When you send stock/action in are they special cleaned in some way to get every miniscule oil bit out?

Any issues dipping a wood stock? I am considering it for a Remington SP-10 shotgun.


Wonder how dipping a synthetic stock vs wood compares?

My SP-10 has a factory Remington camo dip. So far it's been durable.

I had this one dipped a couple years ago in the new Bottomland camo. It's been good, so far.

Wouldn't want to set that shotgun down to far away, you'd never find it.....

Wow, I had to look twice, and closely at that to spot the gun.

That said, I have a Kimber Montana stock dipped in KUIU Verde 2.0. Should be be back any day now. I might think about having my future 20ga turkey gun done in new Bottomland after seeing (or not) the above.

Nope Last Frontier Custom Guns out of Palmer did most the metal work on it including both the fluting on the barrel and bolt.

do it yourself and save $$$$ , patterns and colors are only limited by your imagination.......... I made this video so every Joe can do it with minimal $$, don't have a big cooler ? do it in your tub (line with plastic) or nail a big enough box with plywood and throw some plastic sheeting or a tarp in it to hold the water, de-grease the stock by washing in hot tap water ( tub/shower) with dish washing soap like Dawn/Joy or similar then let it dry completely ..... make sure the water is cold to prevent paint from curing too fast on surface of water, throw a bag of ice in and let melt if no cold water, attach a dowel, stick, branch or wooden broom handle with a screw through the action screw hole to keep hands off stock and paint and dunk it when satisfied with the paint mix on surface, can redo stock to match terrain foliage/seasons etc at your will....... use sailboat or deck clearcoat to make it last longer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JEdxmbUXjs

I had a stock dipped and it was a total waste of money. The color was very thin and not durable at all. Better to just paint it yourself....
