I was one of the lucky ones this year. I drew a NM antelope tag for the first time in 9 years.

I got my ranch assignment last night. FBK in unit 47.

Anyone have any information on this place?

Looks like 6 draw hunters and 3 landowner tags for almost 16k acres.

I guess the nearest hotel is in ???

Thanks

Dave

Congrats on a good area

Tomahawk guide service in Springer was pretty good if you don't get a chance to scout things beforehand. But if that's a good ranch you should be fine for a DYI hunt.

We hunted Elk north of there with them but not antelope.

Thanks

Is there still a little hotel in Roy?

I guess Springer is the next closet little town. Is there a hotel there?

I hunted in Roy last year. No hotel. Not sure about Springer.

Last time I was by Springer the Oasis was it. Googled it and it looks like it's still in business.

Oasis was still open last time I went through Springer. For Gods sake observe the speed limits in Roy, Mosquero, and Springer! Have been pulled over in all three, escaping with a warning each time...how, I don't know. Either Roy or Mosquero had a ridiculous 15 mph speed limit through "town". Springer wasn't much faster....they certainly love out of state money, as does every small community nowadays.
