I had never heard of them until about 2 weeks ago when a guy asked about them on a different forum. I did a little research but everything I located was a couple years old.
A local gun store an hour away from me has a Fierce Edge in 270 for $2000. I may go handle it depending on what I hear.

A couple months ago I was rifle shopping. I eventually bought this Weatherby Mark V six lug .270. I handled and cycled the bolt of two Fierce rifles. One was a titanium / carbon and the other stainless. I like to test them by cycling the bolt while holding the rifle against my shoulder after dry firing it. The bolt would go in part way and sort of get stuck on both of them. I tried the nine lug Weatherby and the same thing happened. I tried another and don't remember the brand and it was the same way. Even my Pierce was that way.
Then I tried the six lug Weatherby and the Browning. Both were smooth as silk. My other six lug Weatherby and my Savage .223 also are smooth working from my shoulder.

My buddy has one, its a shooter..
I've cycled few of them and was looking at one pretty heavily. Never noted the action problems cited above.

I knew it was an 85 knockoff. I read of some delivery problems but no problems on the rifles themselves but info was a couple years old.

Do you know if $2k is a good price on the blued Fierce Edge? It's a 270 and the only drawback I can see is that it has a muzzle break. I've only seen pictures but it didn't look to be removable.

I have one in 7rm it shoots very well. The brake can be removed and it comes with the thread protector. It's lite weight and easy to carry. It should be cerakote and not blued. The only thing I don't like is the paint on the stock. Mine is black with the white webbing and the webbing reminds me of lightning bolt graphics from the 80s. I think they retail at about 2600 most places. It will also come with a test target and load info.

Here is a link: link to Fierce Post I would rather have a Christensen Arms Mesa for almost 1/2 the price. A dealer nearby has a bunch in stock and sells them fast. He has targets from clients that have purchased them. They are tack drivers

Accurate as all heck. I have one in 28 Nosler. They have McGowen match barrels. No problems. Its going to be my sheep and goat partner this fall.
