I agree buddy. I feel blind now... I was wondering if it was because I switched my browser to google chrome or maybe that just added to the haze... mad cry

OK, after I edited my msg the signature line came back.

And I see we apparently default to the quick reply box? Another step for me to follow now, I have to remember to click on the "full editor" or whatever it was called.

Well, more "stuff" to get used to. At my age I'm getting about done with "getting used to" new stuff.

Guess I'll have to try to change screen appearance/ font size as things look smaller too.

Geno

PS, Sitka, Change for performance sake is not a bad idea. But...... I can swap a bigger motor into the truck and I don't have to turn the window cranks in the opposite direction, find the shifter is now on top of the dashboard near the windshield, and now I sit in the passenger seat to drive and the headlights are in the back. smirk

Looks a bit different now with some things just missing altogether on my end (using Firefox browser). Very different 'look' between logged in and logged out. Just noticed too even the font when typing a post appears to have changed.

Just a "thing". I'll live I guess.

PS, had to look around to find the picture poster thingy and the you tube linker too.

PPS, maybe I saw this kind of format on another forum? Right before i quit using it often?

Must have something to do with browsers/devices Geno......

The format's a little different but nothing too traumatic on my end.

Yeah, that's what I figure it was all about. I'm glad it's faster on someone's iPad, as they posted above. But I don't use pads.............. i, maxi, mini, stayfree, or any other kind......................yet! maybe when I'm older and incontinent. shocked

Computers are just tools right? I still have some of my dad's and grandpas wrenches, they still work the same, righty tighty mostly, unless they're used on early 60's Chrysler lug nuts! (there was a change that made sense, eh? Until one broke off a stud). No need to change the tools too much.

Geno

PS, I still use hand saws and regular screwdrivers.

Previously posted You Tube videos are a bit larger...

I kinda miss the Quick Response space.

Knowing it takes a bit to get the bugs worked out, though... Or not. smile

Question is, are all the ads and BS stopped...?

The screen no longer fits my IPhone screen...any way to adjust the size to eliminate scrolling back and forth? Apparently the update changed the size.

Seems to function the same for me. I have the quick reply at the bottom, exactly as it was before, or just one click the ''use full editor' if content other than text needs to be added. No idea what the Index button was or why I would have used it.
