Has anyone made one of these up on the RWS 6.5 X 68 case?

Most things have been done by someone. However this case is expensive and the case diameter is not of a standard size so this involves bolt work that adds to the cost. On top of all that the case has at times been very difficult to find. So much for the down side. The case would make a good 7mm and would be something that not many would bother with. You would have the only one in your hunting camp. And thats enough reason for me. But the guy with the 30-06 might get the only Elk.

I think it would make an excellent case with the ideal powder capacity. And so does David Tooley who has
some propeitary calibers using the x68 case. It's called the 7mm Boo Boo.

i no of one with an improved case. greg johnson, a gunsmith in minot nd has the reamer. pushes the stw in performance with their loads but have no idea what kind of press they are at. they have also done a 25 and maybe others.
