Happy Turkey Day to Northern Dave and the cast of characters that is the Chickenbuck Nation. Dave, will you be flipping the bird to everyone at your place today, or does Mrs. Dave get the honors?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

As I sit here watching the Macy's parade I would be remiss if I did not say HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone.

Just back from the Turkey Day 5K run at the YMCA. Whew, that running is a lot of work! But now, I can pig out with no remorse!

Have an enjoyable and reflective Thanksgiving everyone.

Good luck to those still going afield and remember to hunt safe and be extremely careful and deliberate while climbing into the stand.

Heading up to camp in the morning at 4:00am to get up to the north woods for my solo 3 day deer camp of one. Nobody else wants to go...oh well. Sometimes it's good to get away and enjoy the solitude.

My sympathies for GopherGunner. He's a Vikings fan AND a Buckeye(hairless nut for the uninformed)! Hopefully, thru medication and extensive therapy, he'll pull out of this.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! smile

Well it's official, T-Zone and Mini-Man will be joining me in an assault on all things whitetail in the Lakeville area this Saturday. Tom runs one o' those newfangled in-line jobs, and I'll be running my .54 Hawkins. Mini-man will take be taking care of eating everything that resembles food, and trying to stay still. Tom's boy is a great kid and I look forward to seeing him again, and joining him when he carries a rifle for the first time in the near future. Nothing greater than being there to see a kid on his first hunt.

I'm hunting for GG. He gets the meat if we get one, he has a freezer to fill. If it's a buck, it'll be pretty nice since we have APR to work with. I've never hunted with those before, so I hope we don't see a nice fat 6pt onless he has 4 on one side and 2 on the other.

Happy Thanksgiving and good luck muzzle stuffers!

We went to my neices house for her first time hosting turkey day. As it turns out, she lives spittin distance from our very own ND and Mrs ND's new house. We ventured over and got the tour. It's a very beautiful home.

OH and I finally got to see the '69 Roadrunner in person. I'll just say that the pictures you see on here do NOT do that car justice. It's beautiful as well!

I hope y'all had a nice Thanksgiving. We headed to northern WI to the lady friends parents for a FANTASTIC spread. Her dad smoked the bird throughout the day and man, was it ever great. I could smell it as soon as we pulled up and our mouths were watering until we ate.

I'm still stuffed

It's repacking the gear time. Re-washing the gear again. Loading the packs. Though, it's a smaller pack this time. I really need to carry this amount of gear during the gun season because that's all I need. The bigger backpack is nice for stuffing an extra shirt and a pair of socks in there though. I did find two salami sandwiches that are now 2 weeks old. Anyone want em? grin Couldn't find any takers here either.

I never thought I'd purchase liverwurst but.... All the times I fished all day with Dusty, he packed liverwurst sandwiches on buns. Liverwurst, cheese, and a buttered bun.

Your sandwich comment made me think of this.

I honestly don't care a huge bunch for liverwurst. But I kind of miss it. Lol

Guess I'll go buy some.
