Even 6" will be bad if the wind picks up like they are suggesting. A lot of the roads still have high drifts along the sides & this will plug many of them up pretty tight.

we're getting it now, most of western SD is shut down by the governor. least the state offices are. I made it 2 miles out of town before I had to turn back. so it looks like I get to enjoy a snow day. temps are hovering at freezing so everything is heavy and wet, when they drop it's going to be an ice nightmare here. kinda feels like atlas again.

LOL, we're trying to get all our stuff finished so we can sell the house, this will delay us a bit on the outside stuff, least I can finish a couple inside things.
it's crazy how having a baby can shrink your house. I also need to finish my address book for the invites on my side. blessing in disguise I guess

Going to be mainly a rain event here.

I was in SD Saturday, for about 25 minutes. Plane stopped in Rapid city to take on fuel. Didn't see a whole lot of snow cover left.

Flurries are starting here now. The wife said it's pouring rain in our town.

heck Bill you were only an hour from me! mama and baby were up in rapid saturday, I was fixing a window on the house.
most of the snow was gone by saturday, it was almost 70 for the high. today is a different story. I'm gonna have to shovel my yard if I want to get any mowing done today.

Went to a gun show this weekend and thought I hit the motherlode - but it turns out it was a gun-knife, not a knife-gun.

There's only one way to get a Kinfe-gun. Joey has to give it to you. The good news is.... he's pretty liberal with them. I got 4 or 5 of em one night at deer camp. Turns out that particular season, we were covered in Flying Bear, and Joey wanted us to be ready.

I remember that, I always checked my knife gun in with Joey when I got back to camp, he was sure serious on how to use them against the flying bear. no joke, that stuff is serious. saved my bacon when I needed it.

spent the past hour rolling around in 16" of new snow, digging under a buick with a winch cable hook and dragging said buick around on it's belly with Nates 77 Ford.

wow, miserable.

(and that was just at home in the driveway)

I don't know if I'll take it to work, but I'll be cleaning snow with it here at home in the morning.

If I don't, nobody will get out of our driveway in the morning... well, nobody except Nate.
