South Dakota is a go. was lookin a little iffy there. my realtor found me a place to live until we close on the house, and storage unit(s) to put stuff in until then as well.

I tell you what, Heartland realty in Hot Springs went above and beyond what a realtor, or realty office is required to do. especially Gale, he's as good as they come.

thanks for the prayers and well wishes ya'll. I might be a little scarce around here for a little while come friday, but thats the way it goes.

enough said, back to the usual (if there is such a thing) on here smile

Well I found a deal on another Winchester I couldn't pass up. Model 70 Featherweight XTR (push feed) in .243 Win, and a Leupold varix-II 3x9x40.

The more I look at this rifle, the more I think it hasn't been shot. It even has a "real walnut" sticker on the stock. It has a very small ding on the fore end from being handled in a shop but I can't find anything else that says it's been outside, let alone in the woods or to a range.

$600

That is for gun, Burris bases, Leupold rings, Leupold Vari-X II 3x9x40, and a leather millitary type sling.

No box or papers but this is a beautiful gun. Can't wait to shoot it. I believe it will be my goto this year.

Did I miss the "twisted nipple" story here or was it on the RR thread?

That gun is no featherweight with the big scope on it. I may have to change that if I can save up enough cash. 2.5x8 or 2x7 would be nice.

Before this new name takes hold, was it actually grinded off or twisted? A little more detail would be appreciated. GNO or TNO???? They both have a nice ring to them....

There was no nipple removal, It stalled out an 11,000 RPM 4.5" angle grinder with a cutting wheel though.

And yes it left a mark.

I think I could have done without a nipple, or maybe just go have one tattoo'd on.
