heck of a long ways to travel just to shoot whistle pigs, but sure I reckon we could find some. I need to get some places on lock down first. I won't have a chance to go shooting til after I move into my new house at the end of may.
you want to sell that hornet? I would love one in a target barrel

I couldn't sell that Hornet, I'm still learning it. I picked it up last year, covered in black paint, only to find that the stock had snapped in two at the wrist, and been repaired (quite well, but it looks awful). It's my beater gun now, so I gotta keep it around. I need a "beater" rat gun, the rest of them are in good nick. When I stripped that paint off the stock, it had a once-beautiful piece of fiddleback walnut on it. I bet the previous owner cried like a baby when he busted that stock.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
coincidence? I think not too bad its a remington if its an ADL I have a synthetic stock for ya with an aluminum bedding block.
It's a BDL. I'm guessing it will shoot just fine. If I get a savage, it will be a lighter one that I can carry.
I'm at my FIL's for easter. We met Grizzly Bill this morning and had some breakfast and BS'd a little.
Then I came home and shot my unused 22 handguns. The Buckmark is fun to shoot. The only problem I found with it is the mag only holds 10 rounds. Actually, it started to jam a bit at the end but I was running them pretty fast.
The Single Six just plain rocks! Probably my favorite gun. I holstered it after about 100 rounds or so and hit the woods for some shed hunting. I didn't find any but I did smack a red squirrel with the single six.
I'm looking for a beater truck gun as a matter of fact. I'll be out in the field every day and I know there are coyotes around. I haven't checked to see if I'm allowed to carry a gun with me in the field while working, but so far I haven't seen or heard that I can't. I might have to get a cheap single shot or something

Considering the distances "available" in South Dakota, I'd probably run with a .223 or .22/250 if I could find one at a decent price, or the .204, which are fun as can be. Heck, I like 'em all..............

way to go Joe! nice assist from the hound dog too.
I have no idea if they allow that Ryan, my guess would be yes, but who knows.
Good Easter Egg Hunt here this morning. Two little guys in camo PJs and one girl in curlers squealing and running all over. We have enough candy to last a lifetime methinks!
Went to an auction yesterday to buy a drag and some other implements. Goofed up on some that were in boxes that we didnt know were there and then the one we knew was there went too high. Dad got a toe jack he wanted and that was it....pretty much blew the whole day too.
Ryan, do you got any PF wear yet? They got some pretty nice stuff.
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.
I have zero PF wear, I'm sure I'll get some pretty soon here, or at least I will have to I'm sure. I figure at least a hat or two right now, and then shirts to follow. probably one nice polo shirt for meetings. I wear light long sleeve button up shirts during the summer, and I doubt they sell those.
