Ok I'll take a stab at it.

Ten towsand.

Actually lets summon white bear, he's up to date on this. he's currently handling a project with a pretty good sized pour.

White bare? (I'll knock on the wall, he's in the next office over)

What has summoned the White Bear from his lengthy nap?

Mrs. ND should talk more highly of such a classic piece of machinery...

I'd need a little more info than 156' but... I'll assume around 2000 square feet of area. I doubt a contractor will touch it for under $6 a foot. Of course that all depends on location, how much ground prep is needed, and the market.

Feed me more info. I like story problems. grin

More info....156 long and 12" wide and then gets wider by the hose to accomodate the 3 car garage. I would guess closer to 3,000 sq ft. Minimal site prep...maybe an hour with a skidloader. I would guess 1 load of fill at max. Nothing else fancy, just concrete.

So, 40 cu yards of concrete is $4500. If $6 per sq foot, that is $13,500 in labor? at $50 per hour, that is 270 hours? something aint adding up here. what am i missing?

I was quoted for a pad next to my garage and it was $8/sqft. It must have been because it was a small quantity.

You won't get it done for 6-7K but it'll prolly have a 6 in it. grin For serious...if you get it done for that price, get me that company's contact info, because I do have some work here.

The part you're missing is it will be more than $6 sq.ft. OK, I'll stop messing with you now. Concrete isn't cheap and I'm serious if you can get if for that price, I'm pretty sure I could keep him busy or at least get him some bids.

Tzone, the SIL took the granddaughter out turkey hunting friday after school. They saw 2 birds, but they wouldn't come in. Didn't go out today.

is it ironic that bin laden and hitler were pronounced dead on the same day?

I obviously wasn't alive for the Hitler announcement but the news of Bin Laden's death was an awesome 41st birthday present for me!

Thanks and God Bless our troops!
