Thanks. I have a few items to be offered as one PIF. So if wanted, claim it all here and PM your address. and PIF.
25 pieces of once fired 358 Win brass, Winchester and Hornady not prepped, 2 pair of new lightweight camo gloves, size LG, also will throw in a couple small pocket knives, blades are very sharp; they're great for the tackle box or fly vest.
well in my case the light bulb burned out when I went into my reloading room to see what I had to PIF with. it was late so I went to bed and first thing this morning checked and found a fair PIF. I apologize to the board if this is rude, I didn't think it was a big deal. seen guys wait days and nary a word said.

Hi Colorado. Respectfully want to mention, Red53 claimed those climber tree spikers before you. I have no problem with people not offering a PIF immediately after claiming something, as long as they eventually post something and actually follow through. Years back I experienced some problems with claiming something, and then posting a PIF, but the item I claimed was not sent to me, and instead was sent to somebody else, for whatever reason I don't know. But no problems in recent years. If I'm familiar with the person who is posting a PIF, I will post a PIF right away. Others, I wait to confirm that the PIF is available, and they acknowledged I claimed it.
I am not griping, but this sounds more like trading, in a way, than paying it forward. PIF seems to me like you would put something out there and then get something somewhere down the line. Again, not griping about how it works as I have benefited in the past, just the nomenclature seems off. miles
However, I usually put something up which gets claimed and then, down the line, when I claim something, I put something else up. May be a few months or longer between the time I offer something and then claim something. It's good to have a "put" in reserve.
Don't over-think it, abide by the intent of doing something good for someone and you'll be fine.

PIF, or trade....what's in a name. I call it fun. I've traded, and posted PIF. Some items are never claimed so they get posted again. I think the basic idea is just to eggnog what we do and leave the semantics to others.
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father but by me. John 14:6
I agree that it is a good thing, but I would hate to see it ruined by turning into a swap meet. I have given things away that I don't need here and in person, and have yet to regret it in any way. I especially like to give excess reloading equipment to young people just starting out. I gave a young neighbor quite a few items just the other day and am showing him how to be safe in reloading. miles
