Apparently, that is dependant on rifle brand. I ordered two Sako classics with a couple of days of each other, the first for a Howa short action, and the second for a Ruger short action. The Howa arrived in less than 12 weeks, whereas the Ruger took about 26 weeks. When I received my Ruger stock, I began seeing where others who had ordered for the same brand began receiving theirs.

I don't know for sure, but it appears that they set up to do an action, process the orders, go to the next action, so forth and so on. It makes business sense to do so, but it can be frustrating if your action is a little towards the back of the queue.(sp?)

No offense, but I agree. Bruzer's stock does look a lot better. It just goes to show you how each stock turns out differently I guess.

None taken. Maybe I should have specified a darker shade of blue. I'm sure I'll be trying again, but next time I'll attach a pic of Bruzer's stock for reference.

Liking those McWoodies. Mine is on order but waivered on the red pad and went black. That one looks sweet.

Copy of one of Steelhead's stocks.

70% Black, 30% Med gray. I could easily hide this rifle in a stack of 1985 bowling balls......

What is the percentages and colors? I can't find the one you copied.

Don't remember off the top of my head, but it was something like 60% light green 40% white. Might be 70/30.

Thanks thinking of doing one 34% light green, 33% light grey and 33% white for the stainless hawkeye I just ordered. May also go 60% light green and 40% light grey or grey depending on how dark the hawkeye matte stainless is.

Here's the little ladies new rifle. McMillan Classic, 60% purple, 40% grape.
