I'll be ordering an FXII 6x36 with M1 turrets from the Custom Shop in the not too distant future.
Cannot find data on the fine crosswire subtension of the Wide Duplex, and Fine Duplex. Not the space between the thicker pickets, but the subtension of the thin crosswire itself.
I'm leaning toward the Fine Duplex for aiming precision at long range, but if the Wide Duplex isn't too thick, I'd prefer the wider distance between the pickets on the Wide Duplex.
Thanks,
Shane

Shane, IMHO your best bet is to call Leupold and ask a tech rep. I did before ordering my VX2 3x9. I got good accurate info and I got to ask questions to be sure I got what I wanted. BTW, if you are ordering a scope from the custom shop I saved $25 when I ordered by phone vs. the online price. here's the Leupold link to subtensions https://www2.leupold.com/resources/downloads/08_catalog_English.pdf

Dave,
Thanks for the info.
I ordered a catalog via Leupold's wesite, so it will be along soon. That download is pretty rough at dial-up speeds....grin.
I'll definitely call my order in.
Thanks, Shane

Dave,
Curious, did Leupold say why it is 25 bucks cheaper to order over phone vs online?

Shane, I'd hate to have to wait for that catalog to download on dial-up. I just downloaded and took a look for you. Here is some of the info you were wanting.
Standard Duplex center crosshairs subtend 0.4". Strangely, they only have the subtensions for the standard, and the wide Duplex in the FX-II 6x.
Wide Duplex subtensions says the thin center crosshairs subtend 0.5".

Thanks Brad,
The Fine Duplex is a Custom Shop option on the FX-II 6x36, so that's probably why it's not listed in the catalog.
