I was in the brand new Bass Pro in Leeds Alabama today. Thats just outside of B'ham on I-20.
They were well stocked with reloading components, guns and ammo.
Also a LOT of women drivers. \:\)

SW in Boise is now all but out of powder. All they had was oddball stuff. The popular powders were long gone.Primer shelves basically empty. Bullet stock is thinning a bit,but not too bad. I had to go to Cabela's. They seem to be doing better on stock, but higher in price.

SW in Aurora is out of almost everything reloading related. I need some .243 100 gr., .257 117 gr., some Varget, and HS-7, and some .38's. They did have a new stock of .38 round nose?. lead (are the ammo makers out, too?), at $16, the only .357 was aluminum cased, but at least they were 158's. You can't even find the place where small rifle primers used to be. They did have .45 ACP and GAP, and some .40. I am not desperate for any of this, it is time to work up a new stock, and finish working on the new .243 load. Now I have to dig through all the stuff stored and really see what I have forgotten.

The Sportsman's Warehouse in Chattanooga, TN is near my office. I went in this past Thursday to check on the reloading components and ammo. The shelves were nearly bare. A couple months ago, this store had an excellent selection of both. A counter guy told me that were expecting a truck in later that day, but he didn't know what was on it. He also told me that a billionaire from Canada had just bought the entire SW chain.

Good. Maybe he knows how to stock shelves and can improve on their system...one box here...one box there...do we really need two of these?...gotta go to lunch. SW is always low on the good stuff.

Traffic in Eureka is horrible these days, has been for the last few years.Bumper to bumper down Broadway most of the day during the week.Too many folks moving up here from San Fransicko and LA.
