Looking at a rifle that has a Bausch and Lomb 3000 on it. Never used one and curious about how they are? Any idea of reasonable resale expectations? Looks to be in new condition, but is mounted on a rifle.

It is the ancestor of the Bushnell 3200. Nice scope. I would value it at near the same worth as a 3200 in equal condition.

I think the only major difference is that the Bushnell 3200 added the Rainguard feature. A friend has a B&L 4000 on his rifle, it is just as bright as my Bushnell 4200.

I think it's a very good scope. I had one mounted on a 300 win for 10 years, I've since swapped it to a 338. Never had any issues with it at all.
