Though I haven't done a business transaction with all of them, these are good folk:

SitkaDeer
JJHACK
BW

also, believe it or not...BigStick. He once offered me a veiled tip about something, with the words "take that as a nudge in the right direction.." He's like EF Hutton.

I think once bearstalker semi-offered to plow my driveway with his 4-wheeler while I was out of town. I'll buy him a cup someday too.

I strongly believe that overall, the good guys outnumber the butt-heads by a very wide margin. So, is there a problem with having a 'bad guy' or feedback list? Possible slander-type repercussions? If it could be proven that an individual had not delivered goods as promised, why not add that person to a list. I don't see it as any worse than 'feedback' like ebay uses, and it would be a lot easier to keep track of scam artists that way than looking through the good guy list to see if they're there - especially if one of the good guys you were considering doing biz with hadn't made it to the list yet. I have hsd very satisfactory dealings with both:

Rick Bin
Reiny (Steve)

Couldn't ask for better people to deal with. It's probably stereotyping, but I'm always uneasy dealing with individuals with fewer than 10 posts. Same with the feedback on eBay. I've passed many a deal that looked great, either because I couldn't verify the sellers trustworthiness or because it looked TOO good to be true.

I have no input to a bad guy list, but here is a list of people I have dealt with and have nothing but good stuff to say about them:

Charlie Sisk
Rick Bin
Raghorn
Mtn Hunter
Plainsman
Newguy
William
Sitka Deer
Smokey
Setterman
Woofer
Ramhunter
Cowman
hrnhuntr
daveyreka

Can't say a bad word about them. Below are a list of people that while I didn't buy anything directly from them ... I would trust with my money:

Logstove
TLee
LSU Fan
If it flies it dies
Need One
Boggy Creek Rancher
michauxii
verrocchio100
Big Stick
SU35

There are many others here that I would also trust but just haven't dealt with them yet.

To return the favor --

I've bought stuff from:

Mule Deer
BT100
JB in SC
JJHACK

and all were great.

I've sold stuff to a few but don't remember the names -- all were also great!

Also got a couple slabs of meat gratis, and a couple contributions to NRA -- you all know who you are...

I would like to add eddieleon to the good guy list. Have had several positive transactions both ways with him. Also ConradCA is a gentelman of the first order. The rest have been pretty much mentioned by others already.

BIG mistake!!!

It was not Ramshooter that stiffed me. He is a good guy. I SINCERELY appologize to Ramshooter for making such a blunder. It was "something" shooter that stiffed me, but I threw away all records of the deal. I again appologize for my blunder. Flinch

I guess generating a bad guy list would be a bad thing.

I found the guys on this board to be first rate and great to deal with. I'll have to go through my notes to add to the list.
