I am very close to having a rifle sent to him to do a rebarrel. I know that most of you feel that a gunsmith should be a gunsmith first and public relations specialist second...and I must admit, he is brief with his responses. I have sent a lot of questions to him and gotten a lot of responses with sentences containing less than 5 words back...but my questions were answered.

So I just want to ask to those that have utilized his services, were you pleased? Do you feel you went with the right man/company? Would you do it again?

They're a good bunch of guys at IT&D, but they are yankees from Ohio, what'd you expect?

Almost all gunsmiths have ZERO personality IMO.

I am well pleased with his work and service. E-mail worked good and we also talked a bit on the phone. Did a great job on my Mexican Mauser .250 Savage. I'll certainly use him again. --- Mel

Do you want him building your gun, or wasting time like the rest of us sitting in front of a computer? laugh

Don't be jealous of us Yankees. Just cause we kicked your butt in a big gunfight, and can still build guns, is no reason to hold a resentment for 150 years.... whistle grin

Thanks guys. I agree, if the workmanship is there, I am not worried if he uses incomplete sentences. I thank you all for the quick feedback.

Late to the game on this thread - been out in the woods. I have used ITD for 3 builds and he will get a couple of bolts to jewel when deer season ends. No complaints.
