Hey gang, if you don't mind please share with me your fav loads for your 300 RUM's?

Seems like most of the fellas I know use R25 and 200 Accu's. I know that Greenhorn has nuked a bunch of critters with this load.

Thx

Mark.
About five of my pards and I use Retumbo under 200 gr. accubonds in our 300RUM's. I'm running 95.5 gr. for 3170fps and very accurate out of my Rem. 700.

i'm different..

i run a 150 tsx over 96.0 grains of reloader 22.

it gives me 3600 fps, and laser like trajectory.

i have run it up to 3800, but accuracy wasn't there anymore.

I think Retumbo was designed for the 300 RUM. I use 95.0grs and a little lower velocity but it shoots awesome in my Sako........................................DJ

Thx guyz, I appreciate your info. I hear the load of 92/R25 with the 200 Accu quite often.

Idaho Elk-I use a lot of 7828, have you clocked that load by chance?

Thx

I was loading IMR-7828 under the 200 gr accubond with great accuracy but I'm getting around 100fps more and just as good accuracy out of retumbo

Anyone ever tried the 190 Horn in it, if even only for giggles?
