Well I submitted a couple of elk hunting applications for CO today.

Myself & Dusty are all squared away.

Bangflop will be squared away as soon as I get his info e-mailed to me.

You have a high school graduation coming up.

Your gramps thought he'd like to buy you an elk license for a graduation gift from him & your grandma.

He agreed to let me & pam go in on it with them.

I don't know how to keep this a secret beings the deadline for elk applications is this week & you'll be trying to get it done yourself if you don't know someone is already working on it for you.

I didn't win any guns at the hunters safety banquet either. For about the 10th year in a row. I did win 25 packs of hand warmers though. So I'm set for the next 5 hunting seasons.

Ray - I'm going to Brookville PA. Not sure if its going to be next week or not now because I havne't been at work since thursday. They asked that all non-essentail businesses be closed until at least tomorrow. (wednesday) so I haven't been able to contact the lady that makes the travel arrangements. I'll know more tomorrow if I can get to work. We are going through a major snowstom with 24 inches of snow expected. 22" has already fallen by Whapeton (the Red River flows from there through Fargo) and we have around 15" here east of fargo the way it looks. Heavy wet snow.

This is the LAST thing Fargo/Moorhead needs.....

The snow did actually peter off and the FM area didn't receive as much as predicted. Now it just needs to stay cold enough to hold off the thaw of the major snow accumulation south of here until the Red has a chance to drop more. There will be another high crest but hopefully nothing like this last one. And the dikes need to hold through that one too so we'll see.....

Yeah, I should probably do that. It is so sandy down here that once the frost comes out of the ground, we have about 5 days of wet. That's about it. We haven't had snow on the ground for about a week now. Another week or two the water temp will be up and those walleyes will be snapping anyway.

I sold my boat, now I have the itch for a different rig. There are a lot of them out there, but I'd prefer to stay local if I can.
