May be a little too slow of a powder.I'm sure it will work, but you may run out of case before you get to the velocity you are looking for.69.0grs of Reloader-22 gives me nearly a compressed load with a 165gr bullet in my 300WSM.

I am using it in my .300 WSM (a CZ Model 3). I am using 69.0 grains under a 200 grain Nosler AccuBond. This is a well below 1 MOA load in my rifle. It's close to maximum, so I recommend that you start lower and work your way up.

I used it in my 7 WSM, I think it'd be about model perfect for the 300 shorty.

I just bought 8 lbs of the stuff and use it in my 300 WSM not to mention the 6.5x284.
It's a natural in the 7mm's and great all arounder.

I will agree with Ramshot Hunter. We use it in my friends 300 WSM. This stuff works great.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

180's and 200's.
Nothing gets better speed and accuracy. Except now RL 17.
I prefer Hunter in the 165's.
