It's been raining here and while turning a corner in my Tacoma today I had some water dribble from behind the dash onto my shin... shocked

I was surprised to say the least as I haven't had that happen since I owned a CJ-7 that almost always went topless! I reached down on the left side under the dash (towards the emergency brake by the coin tray) and sure enough it was wet so I somehow have a leak or malfunctioning drain in my '09 Tacoma. I made an appointment to take it in and have it checked out on Monday but if anyone has experience with this, I'd appreciate some input as to potential causes/fixes!!

Have you had the windshield replaced recently?

Hmm still would not hurt to check windshield seal through a car wash or with a hose.

Something we should know?

I bought one last fall and while it hasn't leaked I will say it is the worst POS I've ever owned. The only thing I like about it is the direct IPOD connection.

Ive seen it in dodges where the seal will go bad around the third brake light and water will run all the way to the front like you are having. Maybe run some silicone around the lense or replace the seal for good measure.

What did you expect? Tacoma is the Native American name for Mt. Rainier meaning, "She who gives us the waters."

One of my buds used to have a GMC Jimmy that had a few gallons of water which sounded like it was somewhere in the dash....every time he took a corner it sounded like Niagara Falls....dont ask me how nothing ever shorted or anything like that cause I dont know.
