26" Fluted barrel from VSF (Varmint Synthetic Fluted) $120 + $10 shipping.

26" Non-fluted barrel from VLS (Varmint Laminated Stock) $100 + $10 shipping.

Both were taken off of new guns.

Greentimber, this is an important matter, you really need to stay on top of it and get this dilema corrected. You need to respond not go away for days at a time.

If the seller cannot respond in day's or check his pm's, I would not purchase Admiralzummie.

Slg888, both Wyowhisper and I purchased barrels from greentimber and neither one of us has received our merchandise. I got one response from greentimber after nine days he still has not seen my cashiers check and Wyowhisper's smithy has not seen the barrel either. Then greentimber disappears for days at a time. He had a commercial Mauser for sale that started in Oct. of 08 with a couple "I'll take it" posts and it was still for sale in august of 09. This guy just vanishes for an extended period of time. When I send him my funds and almost two weeks later he still don't have them I get very concerned. And it seems that I'm not the only one concerned at this time. He don't seem to have a very good track record. We don't like to get scammed, some of my hunting cronies are ready to drive down to Tennessee to pick up my barrel. I don't live all that far north of him, it's driving distance. I'll be at the bank on Monday morning with my check stub to see if it has been cashed and when. Then we might just have to gas up the trucks and head for Tennessee.

Yap, Seems this is happened 2-3 times on campfire classified this year.

One thing I notice about poor seller's is they always have low post count and there post count is primarily in the classified section. I always look back at someone's post history and it helps me determine what kinda guy they are.

Wyowhisper, greentimber found my cashiers check in his stack of mail that his wife moved around on him. Said in the email that he would ship the barrel Friday when he gets back in town form work away from home. I'll be waiting. The bank hadn't cashed it as of this morning. Maybe he's just going thru some times traveling for work, ya suppose?
