Forget the loose leaf like Beechnut or Redman . Send him red tag Tinsley plug tobacco . It's all the syrupy junk in Day's Work , Brown's Mule , and the rest that causes you to spit .I chewed Tinsley for years and never spit . You cut a small chunk off with your pocket knife and put it between cheek and gum --- just like moist snuff .
I'm told the Army furnished it in Vietnam to discourage smoking on patrols . Weren't there , don't know .

I have used Levi Garret plugs, Redman and Beechnut leaf and tried many "snuse" varieties. Liked Skoal Key before it got too spendy. Hawken, Kodiak and Cope, too. Now I use Longhorn Straight cuz I'm cheap. Never could abide with the spitting, always swallowed the juice . . . takes care of worms .

Levi Garret is a good middle of the road chew.
Good flavor, not too sweet, not to harsh (like old school Cope), most that chew Redman or Beechnut would not turn down a chew of Levi Garret.
Clinging to my God, and my guns!

Days-o-work is about the only plug you can find around here. My cousin can still get W.B. Cut. It's one of the best. I don't much care for Levi Garrett or Red Man plugs. I chewed Copenhagen for thirty years and quiting was the hardest thing I've ever done [nicotene withdrawal is a beatch]. Plug or leaf doesn't seem near as addicting. It all taste good to me.
