I bought a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 270 in 1990 the hard way, 10 or 20 bucks a week whatever I could come up with. It had a better piece of walnut than the new Deluxe models. It shot everything great. A few years later I traded it for a shotgun of all things!

You have NO idea, well perhaps you do.

Told the GF the other day that I had a mistress and her name is Alaska. I told her she would most likely lose out to Alaska.

None..If they get sold it is because they're crap or the cartridge sucks.

Only got rid of two guns, traded an 870 Express and an old 870 Wingmaster for a .300 Savage 99. No regrets there. No plans on getting rid of any others.

Yeah, I do...I was stuck back east till I was 21...since then I have sacrificed the proverbial love and money...more than once, and a LOT more to be here.No regrets....I just plain don't "fit" anywhere besides here and Wyoming, and I'll bet you know how THAT feels...

I sold one a couple of years back, a mint pre-64 M70 fwt. Yup, mint. Sold it because it was a 243, and I have no use for that particular cartridge. Stupid...

I saved this picture to my favorites a long time ago. My heart almost stopped when you said you sold it.
You shouldn't do that to a guy my age.
BTW, there's a place out in Monashka Bay on Kodiak that looks like the background in that pic. Another reason I like it so much.

Have a few rifles in the safe that will never be sold, no how, no way.

Only thing I've sold recently was an AR15 upper receiver. I regret that I didn't sell it earlier and the lower receiver at all closer to the election, as I would've made more dinero.

I had a plain old Model Seventy .30/06 Classic SM that was the most reliably accurate rifle I think I've ever seen. Straight out of the box, nothing done to it at all, with a straight M8-4X, it was always better than MOA, with any and every bullet I tried in it. Stick a bullet on a caseful of H-4350 and go kill stuff.

I have it's twin, a .270, that's almost equally as wonderful, but I regret letting that one go.
