A small local gunshop has a Winchester model 270 pump(22 cal.) NIB for $200 bucks.I have looked on some auction gun sites but cannot come up with much price wise.Is this a fair price?Thanks for any info.coobie

If this is the model made in the 1960s, that is a pretty good price.
That was my first ever rimfire and I sold it foolishly 40 years ago.
If you don't buy this one, let me know please.

Well I picked up the winchester model 270 22 cal.today,$200 out the door.Much to my suprise it had a very nice condition orginal box,hang tags,owners manual and warrenty card.coobie.

Is it a Standard or Deluxe model? The Deluxe had a Monte Caro stock.

Something interesting, The infamous 1964 Winchester catalog has the model 250 (lever), 270 (pump), and the 290 (auto-loader) .22s on the cover. I have had a 270 pump since 1965. I actually have the complete set, all in "as new" condition, I have theoriginal catalog too. $200.00 is a very good price for that rifle. Have fun, shoot it a lot!
