My boy will do that when we head for the lake too, but he wants to drive the boat...he could care less about the fishing. smile

Awesome job, and great job w/ the camera.

How many times has that scene played out across the USA?

What a great moment.

tzone and tom those pics are great. My youngest (now 26) has a Red Ryder stashed in my gun safe to give to his first child someday.

Those are great pics. My kids are all grown up. But I have 3 Grand kids living a couple a hundred yards from me. They have BB guns, sling shots, pocket knives and a .22, thanks to Grampa. A year ago it took my 5 year old Grandson 2 weekends and quite a few BB's to put a BB into the head of one of the Spruce Grouse hanging around the yard. He was thrilled, me too.

Ak1...I didn't wait until I was a grandpa to start handing out all the cool toys to my son, I just waited until I was divorced! Now my son has his own little arsonel! BB gun, Pellet gun an assortment of 22 rifles and now a combo Rossi gun a 22lR, 243 single shot and 20 ga. single shot shotgun! He does have quite the collection of knives ( My ex would NEVER buy him even a pocket knife for fear he would hurt himself) I am glad someone else lets there kids have fun too!

I didn't want my kids playing with my guns. So I bought them their own.
