Hornady is making 6.5mm ammo and the rifle is in nice shape, although the bore is a little dark. It appears to be in its original mil-spec configuration with no import markings.
$95 + $15 s&h.

Dang, Jeff, you're on a heck of a milsurp kick of late.

Sure, why not? $110, is cheap enough for a toy to kick around for a bit, just to play with.

IT is worth that any day of the week!
The Carcano is actually a pretty neat little rifle - do a you-tube search and you will be surprised

As merely a rifle it is probably worth that but the story it tells of being picked up on a battlefield in North Africa, Sicily, or Italy by a young GI, probably away from home for the first time, scared as hell in a foxhole, makes it almost invaluable. I have alot of old milsurps and each one has an incredible story, even if I don't know it.

$100 rifle with a $400 stock, something is out of balance there.
Sort of like the boys in the 'hood who drive junkers with $5K in rims and tires mounted.
