I've always like the looks of the Ruger service revolvers. The first handgun I ever had was a Ruger Speed Six. Still have it, but my mom likes to keep it at her house loaded and ready, in case she needs it. She can't hit the side of a barn, she's never been into shooting, but it makes her feel safer and the mere sight of her with it would stop most crooks.
