I have very good luck with R-19. My load is 74 gr. with the 225 TSX. This near max in my rifle so work up.... This load chrono's 2865 fps and is a sub 1" grouper.

The 338 isn't real finicky.

H or I 4350
H or I 4831 (remember, data for H and I is not interchangeable)
RL-19
RL-22
RL-25
I7828
AA 3100

Those are the powders I've tried and they all worked fine.
MRP, H414 and a bunch of others work well too. I'd say whatever makes a 280 or 270 sing works and has data for those powders. It likes a little slower fuel than the 06.
At present all I use is RL-19, 22 and 25.

IMR 4831 has worked best in mine. Best velocity and accuracy, but every rifle is an individual.

Reloader 19 produces great accuracy and velocity in my 338wm. 74 grains of RL19 and a 225 accubond is the load nosler suggests and I get about 2860fps.

I have had good excellent performance with RL-19 when using a Nosler Partition or Swift A Frame bullet in the 225 bullet wight. I have had very good accuracy with IMR-4831 and IMR-4350 when using the 250 grain bullets.

I have also had very good results using a 180 grain Nosler Accubond bullet on deer size critters. Powder is Viht-N-150 and velocity was 3140fps. My model 70 Winchester shot .770 for 3 shots at 100yds with this powder and these bullets.
