By the way, and a free bump, I have one of the "Stinger" cases (I think it's the same, the dimensions seem right but i ain't diggin' in the shed to measure) and it has a watertight seal, great for moving or if I need to put guns in storage.

When I was 13B/Field Artillery, I had a distinct dislike for messing around with that stuff.

Dramatic results, but I just never wanted to be near the stuff...

The cases that I have have the stencil "rocket ammunition with explosive projectile" painted over. I'm going to re-stencil mine. Don't know if they are airline approved (no lock). The above internet picture is typical of the cases. With the O-ring seal and pressure valve, would make good storage container for 50 cal, or camping equipment. I'm going to convert one to a 2 gun safari case.
