I looked at that one today, it is out of stock. It is what I am looking for but several other sites are also out of stock. Thanks looking, and if you come up with another site I appreciate the leads.

Boyd's claim that if something is out of stock they will make one in 10 days or less for you... the thumbhole in the Marlin 917 was a special run tho.. currently they are doing a special run for Marlin XL 7s...

http://www.revolutionstocks.com/marlin.htmRevolution used to be Revival Industries, I've got a tundra on a 917v that I am quite pleased with. They use the marlin inlet, which means you may, or may not need to touch up the barrel channel a bit to free float if you want. Side note, do not expect a light-weight with one of those. I think mine is closer to 9 lbs than 8 lbs.
