44 to 45 grains of RL15 with the 120 NBT should be your huckleberry...

120NBT's made a believer out of me last year when they passed through a speed goat's shoulder after leavin the barrel at 3500fps from a 7RM.

If you are going the 140 grain route, leave the NBT alone and go the Accubond route. They dont blow up and out of 19 deer killed I have only recovered 2. At the ranges you stated I'd opt for the heavier bullet. Although I have no problem with the 120NBT. Just had a 7-08 built for my wife throated for that particular bullet.

I have had no problems with the 140 BT in my 7-08.
However I can't tell you how well they expanded or if they've "blown up" because they have ALL been pass throughs on sheep and deer.
