I bought this one from Bob Watts in Atlanta in 1977...It was a .45, I used it for a few years and had an encounter with a bear...I then made a .54 in the late 80s and converted the .45 to a .40...

Nothing yet. Only had one opportunity to shoot itso far. Hopefully that will change. However I have slain a number of hogs with my other fusil. A Centermark French Fusil de Chasse. I recently did some customizing on that gun, making it a bit more individualistic and to my liking!

New sideplate and triggerguard

It shoots the 280 gr. PRB mighty fine also! Hopefully I'm gonna try running one of those through a big WT soon!

30338,

I have only two percussion rifles left.

Other is a Green River Rifle works Leman which was my wedding rifle. Had it since ‘79.

So that front piece pivots down and locks the hammer in the down position? Never seen something like that.

No , its like a safety. Kinda. Hammer just sets on top. It all pivots forward when you wish to fire. Just covers the nipple &cap

Wow, I’ve got a bunch T/C percussion guns, but nothing worthy of posting pictures of in this thread!
Beautiful firearms!
